I am a guitar player looking for a band. I live in Glen Ellyn. Some examples of my composition and playing are here.

I play all the instruments and sing all the vocals on these recordings, made in my living room using a Boss BR-600.

I own a Taylor D114 acoustic, an Ibanez RG320DX, an Ibanez S470, a Fender Precision Bass, a Line-6 Spider Valve HD100 100-watt half stack (soon to be full), a cheap keyboard, and a Boss BR-600 digital 8-track recorder (If you listen to my songs, you will hear the recorder). I have transportation, motivation, creativity, discipline, and determination. I am also easy to get along with, open to new ideas, and I want to get gigs.

I am a self-taught guitar player, and I also play a little bass, the violin, and I have some ability on the keyboard. Although I’m not much of a singer, I try. I’m 30 years old, and I live in Glen Ellyn. I spent over 6 years in the army (Yes, I went to Iraq twice. No, I never killed anyone.), then I studied psychology for three years in college. At the end of my third year, I realized that I was not doing what made me happy, so I picked up the guitar anew, bought some recording gear and a new guitar, and started putting songs together. I have since been trying to form or join a band, but school has interfered with that. So, I am taking a break from school and working at a coffee shop (better than Starbucks) and making a concerted effort at music.

I love to make music, but I am poor and I need to make money doing it. I am open to many styles and genres. Let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing more from you and I hope that we can arrange a time to meet in the near future. Thanks for listening to my stuff.
