Street Redemption the mixtape in streets now! Lil Tookie was born Fredrick Mumphrey on January 03, 1992, in a small town called Perry Ga. to Tommesia Williams and Fredrick Mumphrey. Tookie, as he was called, did not have a very happy childhood in a 2 bedroom trailer with 4 brothers, 1 sister and his disable cousin that his mom is caring for. At the age of ten he started freestyling rap in the school bathroom with some of his friends and would always win the battles. That’s when he decided he wanted to be rapper when he grow up . It was during this period that he started wearing hats all the time. Fortunately, As he grew older, Tookie found a way to escape the effects of his abuse and his bullying attitude: hip-hop music. He fell in love with it at the age of ten, and by 11 he was writing lyrics and making his own songs with some DJ equipment his cousin gave him. At 15, he and one of his brother(Krunk Juice) and best friends came up with his present stage name Lil Tookie. Lil Tookie started passing his music out to his friends and created a buzz in the streets. Shortly after he created a buzz Duke Stokeling found him and took him under his wings at Tantrum Entertainment and signed him to Tantrum Souf(South Division) where he’s currently completing his album 1st Round Draft Pick. When Lil Tookie was asked what is a Real G he replied "REAL G' is Keeping it real at all times, ain't about carrying a gun or smoking blunts. It's about being true to yourself and those around you." One thing I'm not gonna do, because I'm black, is suddenly say 'you know what, I can't play a villain!' You don't need to be the good guy to get a good message out.
